I just did my 2007 Caddy 1.9 BLS ENGINE and it sounds awesome. On my model there were 2 mufflers, one in the middle and one in the rear, and a cat next to the turbo, and no sensors on the exhaust and cat. Having no sensors and DPF made the job 100x easier. Handy tip: don't lose the screw to your VBand clamp that holds the downpipe to the turbo. That just cost me 80 bucks to get a new Turbo smart VBand. I don't mind, really because it came with parts I can use to connect a homemade downpipe or hoodstack if I want to. I just gutted my cat for now and clamped her back on and ran a straight pipe where the mufflers used to be. She whistles like a truck now 👍🏻

I have a 1995 F150. I changed out the EEC IV computer because the original was toast. My check engine light has been on with both boxes and won't go off. I bought an OBD I reader for the Ford pre 96. It doesn't even act like it is hooked up and doesn't read. Any ideas. I'm out of them an so frustrated. Thanks.

this is not correct. you have to turn the steering wheel a half turn in both directions as well as put the overdrive on and off at least for the f150

V // # # \\ V // # # # # \\ [#] | [#] ^ | ^ Grey^ / Black Check engine light will flash out the codes digit by digit with 2 sec between numbers 5 sec between codes 8 sec between pending codes and previously stored codes

I have a 1997 f250 hd with the 5.8L, and with 3.55s, it pulls 10k's worth of loaded dump trailers just fine. Its also important to realize that its no diesel, so you cant expect to get everywhere fast.

I haven't clean my KN oil air filter for a year and it is very slow acceleration. Deceleration is fast. I clean it yesterday night. There were tons of small objects on it. Hopefully I will get back the acceleration after the cleaning. I need to oil it tonight.
